Terms of Use
These are the rules for using ShowHero. By making an account or using the ShowHero Printer, you agree to them. They're written to be read, so please do.
ShowHero is run by Live Show Hero, in Adelaide, South Australia ("we", "us"). "You" means the person or business with the account.

1. Your account
- You must be 18 or over, and the details you give must be true.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what's done with your account.
- One account is for one seller or one business. Each plan covers the ShowHero Printer on up to two computers at once, so a helper can pack while you sell.
2. Plans and payment
While we test: ShowHero is free for sellers we approve, and the Lister plan is in beta. Anyone can make an account; we review each one before switching it on. Nobody is charged unless they add a card themselves. We'll tell you at least 30 days before testing ends and any charge could start.
Once testing ends:
- Printer plan, US$15 a month: the ShowHero Printer and the label designer.
- Lister plan, US$30 a month: everything in Printer, plus listing, the Whatnot file, copying from eBay, price checks and AI write-ups for up to 500 photos a month.
- Plans renew every month on the same date, and your card is charged by Stripe until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars. Your bank may charge a currency conversion fee.
- Moving up to Lister unlocks listing straight away, and you pay the difference for the rest of that month. Moving down to Printer takes the unused part off your next bill.
- If we change a price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
- If a payment fails, Stripe tries your card again over a few days. If it still fails, your account is paused until it's paid. Your items are kept.

3. Using ShowHero fairly
Please don't:
- list anything illegal, stolen, fake or banned by the platform you sell on;
- try to get into another seller's account or work, or into parts of ShowHero you aren't given;
- overload ShowHero, test its security, or use scripts or bots against it;
- share or resell your account.
Usage limits (for example photos a month) keep ShowHero fast and affordable for everyone. If you need more, ask us.
4. Your content
- Your photos, item details and listings stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run ShowHero for you, including sending them to the services in our Privacy Policy.
- Check everything ShowHero writes before you list it. AI write-ups, categories, conditions and price checks are suggestions and can be wrong. You're responsible for what you list and sell.
- Photos are deleted 48 hours after you take them. Keep your own copies of anything you need.
5. Our software
- ShowHero, the ShowHero Printer, their code, designs, text and the name ShowHero belong to Live Show Hero. A plan is permission to use ShowHero while you're subscribed. It isn't ownership of it, and it isn't a licence to the software.
- You may not copy, change, sell, share, decompile or reverse engineer any part of ShowHero, or use it to build a product or service that competes with it.
- Ideas you send us (for example on the Updates page) may be used to improve ShowHero, with no payment or credit owed.
6. Whatnot and other platforms
- ShowHero isn't made by, endorsed by, or connected with Whatnot, eBay, TikTok, Poshmark, PSA or Dymo. Their names are used only to say what ShowHero works with.
- You must follow the rules of every platform you sell on. Your accounts there are between you and them.
- These platforms can change how they work at any time, which can stop a ShowHero feature working until we update it. We'll fix things as quickly as we reasonably can, but we can't promise a platform will keep working with ShowHero.
7. Changes and availability
We keep improving ShowHero, so features may change. We aim to keep it running all the time, but there will be occasional breaks for updates or problems outside our control. If we remove something central to your plan, we'll tell you first.
8. Limits of our liability
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law come first. Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms takes away those rights, or any rights you have under the consumer laws of where you live.
As far as the law allows:
- ShowHero is a tool to help you sell. We aren't responsible for your sales, for a platform's decisions about your account, or for a label printed with what a platform told us.
- We aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost sales or profits.
- Where the law lets us limit our liability, our total liability is limited to supplying the service again, or paying what you paid us in the 3 months before the problem.
9. Ending
- You can stop at any time: cancel in Settings, or delete your account.
- We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other sellers or ShowHero at risk, or doesn't pay. Where it's fair to, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. For changes that matter, we'll tell you at least 30 days ahead. If you keep using ShowHero after that, the new terms apply.
11. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of South Australia, Australia. If we disagree about something, let's talk first: most problems are quickly fixed. Courts in South Australia can decide anything we can't settle.
